Israel Welcomed 27,936 New Immigrants in Past Year

The total number of immigrants arriving in Israel since last Rosh Hashanah is 27,936, with a downturn in emigration from France and Ukraine.

Immigration from Russia was 7,154, followed by 7,104 from Ukraine, 5,239 from France, 3,010 from the U.S., 654 from Brazil, 545 from Britain, and 402 from Canada.
