ambassador-ron-dermerRon Dermer, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, said his country’s army should be given the Nobel Peace Prize for how it has fought in Gaza.

The man is right on.

“The truth is that the Israeli Defense Forces should be given the Nobel Peace Prize… a Nobel Peace Prize for fighting with unimaginable restraint.”

Dermer was speaking at the Christians United for Israel Summit in Washington, D.C. today when he criticized the Hamas tactic of using its people as human shields.

“I especially will not tolerate criticism of my country at a time when Israeli soldiers are dying so that innocent Palestinians can live,” he said.

This morning, Secretary of State John Kerry and U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon will talk with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu in the hopes of brokering a ceasefire. The death toll has risen to more than 29 Israelis dead.

  1. NO – Israel doesn’t want to be in the same league as all those who got peace prize like Arafat, Obama, Clinton, etc. – all anti-Israel

  2. As Lipa21 suggests, the biggest problem is that OUR representatives use the language of the LIBERAL LIBELOUS PRESS.Ironically the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE is named for the inventor of gunpowder. The last thing the IDF needs is to get that BOOBY TRAPPED PRIZE.The last sentence of the above article makes no sense.Does anyone really think that Kerry and k-k I Moon are “Brokering a Ceasefire”is for the benefit of the 29 ISRAELI DEAD?
