Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon told Israel’s Channel 10 that the U.S. has sent a “significant message” to the region and beyond with last night’s attack on a Syrian air base, the AP reports.
Danon said that “it was a moral decision that delivered a triple message”: It told the Syrians to stop using chemical weapons, it sent a message to Iran and North Korea, and it told the international community that “if the U.N. is incapable of acting in these situations it will lead.”
