An Israeli court in Yerushalayim sentenced a Palestinian to 17 years in prison for carrying out a stabbing attack in 2015 in which an Israeli soldier was injured, Maan News reports.
The court also imposed on Saed Muhammad Qumbuz, a resident of the Old City of Yerushalayim, a 50,000 shekel ($13,000) fine.
Qumbuz was convicted of carrying out a stabbing attack on an Israeli soldier in Yerushalayim on Dec. 27, 2015.
Since October 2015, 34 Israelis have been killed by murderous Palestinians.
