The Israeli embassy in Ireland has hit out at a proposal to fly the Palestinian flag over Dublin City Hall for a month, reports Stephen McDermott for Dublin Live-Ireland.
A spokesman for the embassy said: “A decision to fly the Palestinian flag over Dublin City Hall would be counter-productive and will ultimately defame the good name of the city of Dublin and its citizens. Should Dublin City Council approve such a motion, it will in effect raise a white flag of submission to terror organizations, hatred and blackmail.”
