Israel Police and IDF forces have arrested two Palestinians suspected of throwing stones at an Israeli bus and IDF soldiers last week, the Judea and Samaria District Police said Thursday.
The 17 and 18-year-old residents of El Arub, near Hebron, confessed to the attack, in which they lobbed stones at an Israeli passenger bus travelling on a highway in Judea and Samaria, injuring the driver.
The town is notorious for the numerous violent attacks on Israeli civilians and soldiers that have occurred there, including incidents of stone-throwing and firebomb attacks on vehicles traveling along Hwy 60, a major route that passes through a main street in the village.
In a related incident on thursday, a tour bus carrying German tourists through Judea and Samaria was hit by a Molotov Cocktail, thrown by Palestinian assailants. The german tourists were apparently on a tour of the Palestinian Authority, and were luckily unharmed in the incident. IDF forces began scouring the are for the suspects.
