Employees of the King Solomon Hotels in Yerushalayim and Teveriah were surprised to learn that Gilbert Luzon, late proprietor of the hotels who died this year, stipulated in his will that all workers who spent five years at the hotel should get $5,000 and those who worked longer should receive a $1,000 for each additional year.

“Luzon spent more than $2 million,” a female employee told Channel 2. “There are people there washing the dishes for twenty years and they suddenly got $20,000. Everyone’s as excited as if they hit the jackpot.”
