Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have recently developed a breakthrough drug to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML), one of the most aggressive cancers, Yisroel Hayom reports.

Professor Yinon Ben-Neriah, who heads the research team, said the new drug “targets many leukemia proteins at once and destroys all of the oncogenes [that have the potential to cause cancer], and activates the tumor suppressor P53 gene.”

Researchers are trying to expand the drug’s use to other cancers, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, melanoma and colorectal cancer.

  1. All the lowlife supporters of BDS should make sure not to avail themselves of this or any of the other life saving drugs discovered by Israel. While they’re at it, they should get rid of their computers and cell phones.
