New York City’s taxis are notorious for their driving maneuvers, which on Friday night cost a 9-year-old boy his life.
The boy and his 51-year-old father were crossing a street in Manhattan’s Upper West Side just after 9 p.m. when they were hit by a turning taxi.
The father sustained a leg injury but ht eboy was taken to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead. The 53-year-old taxi driver remained at the scene and no charges have been filed.
The boy was identified as Cooper Stock, a son of oncologist Dr. Richard Stock. Read more at Fox News.
