Jewish French Parliament Member: We Are Not “Settlers” in Israel

1

The only Jewish French Parliament member, Meyer Habib, recently asked French Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Marc Ayrault about the Paris Conference of January 15th.

For the first time in French Parliament, Habib made very clear that even if we all dream of peace in the Middle East, a peace deal will result from direct talks, the end of terror, reciprocal concessions and the acceptance of Israel as a Jewish State.

No matter what concessions will be reached, Habib said forcefully, a Jew will never be a “settler,” neither in Yerushalayim nor in Judea, as Israel is the Jewish homeland.

Video is in French, with English subtitles.
