Former President Jimmy Carter said in a recent interview that he does not believe Russia stole the election from former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016.
“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes, or any votes,” Carter told The New York Times in an interview published on Saturday. Read more at The Hill.

While I am impressed that Mr. Carter has finally said something that is both true, and politically dangerous, I still feel that this statement was made to ingratiate himself to President Trump, so that Jimmy could be appointed as the US negotiator with North Korea.
