assangeWikileaks founder Julian Assange announced that he would not remain in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London much longer, although he was vague about the details of his departure.

Assange, 43, told the press on Monday that he “will be leaving the embassy soon,” but would not disclose when or why he was doing so. There have been recent reports that his health is failing, including that he suffers from a potentially fatal heart condition. Assange denounced any information “reported by the Murdoch press,” though he admitted there was “difficulty” remaining a “healthy person” while living in a confined space.

Assange has been living in the embassy for two years to avoid extradition to Sweden, where there is a warrant for his arrest regarding alleged assaults. Assange believes he will then be sent to the U.S. for questioning regarding Wikileaks. Last week, he lost an attempt to have the arrest warrant against him dismissed. Read more at The Guardian.
