kerrySecretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday the upcoming release of Jonathan Pollard, a former U.S. Navy intelligence officer convicted of spying for Israel, was not tied to the nuclear agreement with Iran, Reuters reports.

Israel’s leaders have strongly objected to the deal and there has been speculation that Pollard’s release, scheduled for November, was arranged to help warm U.S. ties to Israel despite that disagreement.

“I haven’t even had a conversation about it. No, not at all,” Kerry told reporters as he left a House of Representatives committee hearing on the nuclear agreement, according to Reuters.

  1. looking for APPROVAL of the Kerry/CHAMBERLAIN DEAL of 2015 (1933) – so this Administration is trying everything!!!!!!!

They’ll even sell you the “Brooklyn Bridge” – sorry the London Bridge was already sold

  2. Mark my words. Knowing the way Obama thinks and deals with others, here is the scenario:
If Obama’s bad deal with Iran is voted down then Obama will find a non related reason to scuttle Pollard’s parole and he won’t be released.
With the phony Corker bill, it is unlikely that the bad Obama deal will be voted down. But, just in case, he will play the Pollard game.
