Tehran – Iran’s Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei expressed confidence today that the Palestinians will eventually retake control of their motherland.
“…the light of hope will shine on the Palestinian issue, and this Islamic land will certainly be returned to the Palestinian nation,” said Khamenei, adding that “the superfluous and fake Zionist (regime) will disappear from the landscape of geography.”
The statement was made by the peace-loving Iranian leader at a meeting with a number of Iranian war veterans who were prisoners of war during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
