The highly anticipated Kosherfest 2017 will be opening its doors tomorrow for its two day affair.
Now in its 29th year, Kosherfest is the world’s largest trade show featuring kosher food, beverages, wine & spirits from around the globe. It is open to industry professionals only.
Many new products will be introduced to the kosher market, including Kayco’s Pizza, which won Best in Show at the Kosherfest New Products Competition, Tuscanini Parchment Crackers, named Best in Category: Savory Snacks, Chips & Crackers and Heritage Kosher, which will be reintroducing foie gras to the Jewish world, a traditional delicacy commonly served in the heim. Foie gras is considered a high end specialty worldwide; its return to Jewish households is eagerly awaited by both foodies and those who want a little taste of the shtetl.
Kosherfest will be held November 14-15, 2017 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ (www.kosherfest.com). A Matzav reporter will be on scene to report on all the exciting innovations coming to groceries and restaurants near you.
