Labor Party’s Female Chareidi Candidate

As Israel ratchets up for the April elections, chareidi high-tech developer Michal Zernowitzki, 37, hopes to become the first chareidi woman to run for a Labor seat under the slogan “Breaking Conventions.”

As head of the Labor Party’s chareidi faction, she said she represents “hundreds of thousands of chareidim who no longer vote automatically for chareidi parties; who want change and who believe in equality, social justice and peace.”

“It started to bother me that there are a few million Palestinians, living in areas we control, who have no real status,” she added.

Zernowitzki belongs to a chareidi feminist group fighting for women’s right to run for elections on the ticket of chareidi parties.

  1. She shouldn’t be classified as “chareidi”, rather she should be classified as “suicidal self-hating socialist-fascist who happens to observe some rituals in her personal life”. Being “chareidi” requires certain ideology in addition to certain observances. She definitely doesn’t share the ideology part, hence is by no means a chareidi.

With what is she and that group Charedi?

  3. As all the above stated, It’s quite obvious to anyone with any SEICHEL that the words CHAREIDI and FEMINIST are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. So we would hope that the self proclaimed “ONLINE VOICE OF TORAH JEWRY” would explain that or at least put the word CHAREDI in quotes. Don’t promote this garbage of the anti-TORAH Labor Party

  4. She is as chareidi as anybody participating in the israeli elections for the kneset its a big issur according to alot of gedolim there was 3 covenants hashem made with the jewish people . One was not to have there own government . She is doing the right thing . She shows the real face of all the fake phony frauds who go dressed as chareidim and don’t act that way at all .
