Nice little promo piece for Shloimy’s.
Very nice. But is it best to post the picture, not just some vague details for the owner to corroborate?
Isn’t the recommended manner of hashavas aveidah to publicize the finding of a brooch and then to have the claimant describe it? Publishing a picture begs for false claims.
If a picture is shown, how can the halacha about asking the person to give a siman be followed?
