Lakewood – Chemed invites the Lakewood community to a parenting workshop in dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
Learn how to use the Hurricane Experience to teach resilience to your children and how to turn this event into a growing experience.
Learn how to teach your fearful and anxious child about fear, and effective interventions to help them.
Their will be a question and answer forum as well.
The workshop will be presented by Benyamin Halpern, LSW, CASAC-T, an Anxiety and Fear Specialist. Chemed’s behavioral health therapist will be available on-site for individual consultation.
