Lakewood, NJ – The Lakewood Police Department has arrested two boys for painting anti-Semitic graffiti at a Lakewood playground.
The arrests came after police detained a group of teens on Monday for vandalizing a nearby building.
Back in August, several swastikas and the phrase “Hail Hitler” (sic) were found spray-painted at a playground on Second Street, at a building being used by a day camp, located across from the main campus of Yeshiva Ketana of Lakewood.
Detectives believe that the two teens, ages 13 and 14, carried out the anti-Semitic vandalism, and they have been charged with criminal mischief and bias intimidation.
