Lakewood Street Crimes Unit Seizes More Than 850 Decks Of Heroin

lakewood-policeLakewood, NJ – Township police charged three people with heroin possession following two separate incidents in late January, the department reported Friday.

Crystel Hubbard of Manor Drive was arrested and charged with heroin possession and weapons offenses following the execution of a search warrant after an investigation by the Lakewood Street Crimes Unit, said Detective Lt. Steve Allaire.

In the Manor Drive raid, police seized 34 decks of heroin, two digital scales, packaging material and .32 caliber handgun on Jan. 25. Hubbard was charged with possession of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of weapon during a controlled dangerous substance offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a fortified premises.

On the same day, on an unrelated investigation, the Street Crimes Unit stopped a car and wound up seizing nearly 850 decks of heroin and marijuana, Allaire said.
