The past 24 hours have been dangerous for flights in and out of New York. On Thursday night, five pilots reported someone illuminated their cockpits with green lasers over Long Island.
On Friday morning, a passenger jet bound for LaGuardia Airport narrowly missed a drone being flown out of a Brooklyn park. Authorities said the shuttle from D.C. had to pull up 200 feet to avoid the drone. Read more at NBC New York.
