Dylann RoofA florist shop employee who was late to work Thursday morning spotted Charleston shooting suspect Dylann Roof and placed a call to police that got him arrested. Debbie Dills saw Roof’s car driving along a highway then called her employer, Todd Frady of Frady’s Florist, who then called police around 10:35 a.m.

“I saw the news coverage last night and the picture of the car. I knew it was a black car, and it had a tag on the front. I saw the pictures of him with the bowl cut,” Dills told the Shelby Star.

“Since it happened, I was praying for them and the church. I was in the right place at the right time that the Lord puts you.”

Twenty minutes after Dill first called her boss, Roof was arrested. Read more at the Shelby Star.

  1. I don’t understand. I come late to work almost every day and my boss gives me such grief. If I come 36 seconds late, the world ends as we know it. How can this woman get away with it? I’ve got to get a job where she works.
