pester-rebbe[Video and photos below.] Last night, the world renowned badchan, the Pester Rebbe, Rav Yoely Lebovits, paid a visit to Lakewood, NJ, to address a gathering held to benefit Bais Medrash Tiferes Shalom-Nadvorna, which is led by Rav Berel Leifer. A large crowd gathered at Park Terrace Hall to hear Rav Yoely, whose humor and wit had his audience splitting their sides in laughter. Lekavod Purim, Yoely shared observations and insights, demonstrated his phenomenal comedic talent.

One of Yoely’s funny acts is his imitation of Hungarian characters, which earned him the name Pester Rebbe, implying that he is the Rebbe of Pest.

Yoely, who is a son of the Nikolsburger Rebbe of Monsey, has been entertaining at Jewish events since 1997.

At Yoely’s request, we have not posted a video of his hilarious presentation last night. The video below simply shows him arriving at the event and his opening remarks.
