The levaya of the 22-month-old boy who drowned in a Monticello bungalow colony and tragically passed away yesterday will be held today. Zev Aryeh Glick z”l was a son of R’ Zalman and Nechama (nee Schmerling) Glick of Crown Heights.
On Shabbos, Zev Aryeh fell into a swimming pool in Wellsprings Bungalow Colony, located off of Cold Spring Road in Monticello, where his family had been spending the weekend. He was flown to Westchester Trauma Center in Valhalla, NY, and the name Chaim was added as tefillos were said around the world.
Zev Aryeh’s father, R’ Zalman, serves as the director of the Tzivos Hashem organization of Chabad-Lubavitch.
The levaya will take place today, Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue in Boro Park, Brooklyn.
Zev Aryeh is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Rabbi Avrohom and Chaya Reizel Glick of Melbourne and Mrs. Chani Schmerling of Switzerland; and his siblings, Musha, Tzivya and Levi.
