Levi Aron Sentenced to 40 Years in Prison August 29, 2012  2:18 pm

levi-aronThe man who admitted to kidnapping and killing 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison.

After Judge Firetog asked Levi Aron if had anything to say about killing Leiby, Levi Aron responded with just one word: “No.”

The 36-year-old admitted killing Leiby after the boy asked him for directions, and pleaded guilty earlier this month.

Leiby got lost on his way to day camp last July, the first time he had been allowed to walk alone. He was supposed to travel about seven blocks to meet his mother but missed his turn.

What does "40 years to life in prison" mean? 40 Years means he is out at 76!! is that life?? does he get parole?? doesnt this ruthless murderer deserve at least 150 years like Madoff?? killing an innocent little boy in the most horrible way is less of a crime then stealing money??
