Coalition Chairman MK David Amsalem (Likud) on Tuesday instructed the Knesset Constitution Committee headed by MK Nissan Slomiansky  not to advance the “death penalty for terrorists bill” promoted by Yisrael Beytenu.

Former Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman, chairman of Yisrael Beytenu, slammed the decision. “We were shocked to hear during the discussion of the death penalty for terrorists bill from the chairman of the Constitution Committee, MK Nissan Slomiansky, that he will not raise the issue to a vote because of an order he received ‘from above,’ from heads of the coalition.”

“We see this as a gross violation by the coalition against the voting public and bereaved families,” Liberman added.

  1. Baruch Hashem! This would be a dangerous bill because the only ones who would receive the death penalty would be Jewish settlers whom the Shin-Daled picked off the streets in the West Bank, beat them up, bound their hands and feet and tortured them almost to death until they confessed to a crime the Sh”D concocted. The Sh”D, the self-appointed-judges-for-life with the help of the left media would then declare him a “Jewish terrorist” who deserves the death penalty. Never will the corrupt court give the death penalty to Arab terrorists if they’re too cowardly even to demolish their homes.
