LISTEN: In Newly Leaked Audio, Hillary Clinton Calls for Rigging Palestinian Election

A newly unearthed audio recording from 2006 reveals Hillary Clinton saying that the US should either block elections in Palestinian Authority or rig their outcomes.

This revelation comes as Clinton’s campaign is dealing with the FBI’s decision to reopen the investigation into the former secretary of state for her reckless handling of classified government documents on a private email server.

The latest leak is raising eyebrows in Israel and the Arab world. The recording is of a September 5, 2006 meeting between Clinton and members of the Jewish media during her reelection campaign for Senator of New York.

Journalist Eli Chomsky, who was at the meeting, released the recording, stating that it had never been played since that meeting – until now.

Clinton says that elections should not be held in the Palestinian Authority, criticizing President George W. Bush who supported the elections. “I do not think we should have pushed for an election in the Palestinian territories. I think that was a big mistake,” Clinton averred.

She then added: “And if we were going to push for an election, then we should have made sure that we did something to determine who was going to win.”

In other words, the election should be rigged.
