Further details suggesting that the Germanwings crash in the French Alps was nothing but intentional emerged overnight, with data from the newly discovered second flight data recorder showing that co-pilot Andreas Lubitz accelerated the downward-bound plane.
Recordings from the first recovered black box already showed the plane’s pilot trying to tear the cockpit door down while Lubitz breathed calmly within. Subsequent investigations revealed that Lubitz had a history of mental and ocular problems, and had researched suicide methods and how to lock cockpit doors. Read more at The Washington Post.
