Magen David to Remain Closed Until Thursday Due to Swine Flu

swine-flu-vaccineThe Magen David Yeshiva in Brooklyn will remain closed after two students were diagnosed with swine flu. A student at the Magen David Yeshiva high school and one in its elementary school came down with the disease. The yeshiva, the main school for the Flatbush area’s Syrian Jewish community, will be closed today and tomorrow, following the Memorial Day holiday weekend.Meanwhile, Israel announced its eighth confirmed case of the virus. The Israeli, 24, who recently returned from a visit to the United States, has been isolated in an Israeli hospital.
