[Video and photos below.] Just hours after an attempted abduction in Lakewood, NJ, a man was stabbed in in the town during what appears to have been a brawl between the Hispanic residents of a Clifton Avenue apartment. The man was taken by paramedics to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune with serious injuries.
The apartment where the altercation took place is located directly above the Kollel Food Store, on Clifton Avenue off of Fourth Street.
The Ocean County Sherriff’s Department is conducting an intensive investigation and is canvassing the entire surrounding area, with the assistance of a smelling canine, in search of the attacker.
Police have entered the apartment and are collecting evidence and taking photos of the crime scene. A large crowd of onlookers have gathered, while Clifton Avenue has been cordoned off between Third and Fourth Streets.
