Mark Levin: Egyptian President ‘Made More Sense in One Speech than Barack Obama Has in Any Speech’

mark-levinNationally syndicated radio host Mark Levin called out the Obama Administration for treating Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi so poorly, a man who saved his country from Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood whom Obama backed.

“He (President Abdel el-Sisi) gave a remarkable speech the other day,” said Levin. According to Levin, during that speech, the Egyptian President said, in part:

“He said Islam needs a religious revolution. He said, ‘I’m referring here, to the religious clerics.’ We have to think hard about what we are facing, and I have, in fact, addressed this topic a couple of times before. ‘It’s inconceivable,’ said Sisi, ‘that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire Islamic world to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world.’

“‘Impossible!’ he says.

“‘That thinking,’ he says, I’m not saying religion, but the thinking. That corpus of texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible. It’s antagonizing the entire world!’ he said.

“‘It’s antagonizing,’ he said, the entire world!’

“He went on: It is possible… Check that. He asked the question, ‘Is it possible that 1.6 billion Muslims should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants, that is, 7 billion, so that they themselves may live? Impossible!’ he said.

“He said, ‘I say and repeat again that we are in need of a religious revolution. You, imams, are responsible before Allah. The entire world, I say it again, the entire world is waiting for your next move, because this Islamic world is being torn, it’s being destroyed, it’s being lost, and it’s being lost by our own hands.'”

“This is a remarkable speech,” said Levin. “And that’s just part of it.”

“This is the President of Egypt,” said Levin, “the President of Egypt, who’s fighting these people. He’s fighting these people.”

Not only that, but he is the first Egyptian president to visit the Coptic Christians in modern history.

“And yet he is painted in this country as just some kind of military rightwing dictator. We should embrace this man,” said Levin. “We don’t have to embrace all of his imperfections and faults. Who cares? This is a serious man.”

Levin went on, contrasting the Egyptian president with Obama:

“He’s made more sense in one speech than Barack Obama has in any speech, in any speech. And I am sick and tired of the moral relativism that this president spews! That’s right! I have a long memory, a very long memory!

“It was what? Sixteen months ago, September 24, 2013, Obama spoke at the U.N. You remember that?

“ISIS. ISIS. You know, the junior league. There are other activities going on in the Middle East. You know: Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, all on the move.

“Oh yes, the Islamo-Nazi regime in Tehran. I don’t believe they’re Methodists over there. Just saying.”

“Remember Obama getting up in front of the United Nations?” asked Levin. “[T]his is what the enemy hears. This is what the terrorists in the Muslim crusade hear from the President of the United States.”

Obama said the following:

“I realize that America’s critics will be quick to point out that, at times, we too have failed to live up to our ideals. That America has plenty of problems within its own borders. This is true. And a summer marked by instability in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

“I know the world also took notice of the small American city of Ferguson, Missouri, where a young man was killed, and a community was divided.

“So, yes, we have our own racial and ethnic tensions.”

“Stop,” interjected Levin. “This is sick. It was sick when he said it, and it’s sick now.”

“Yes. Yes,” mocked Levin. “We in America, we have very serious problems to, and we know the world took notice. Really?”

That’s “a complete fraudulent myth, concocted by the radical left and the racists, including those in this administration and their surrogates, before the election” explained Mark Levin.

And Obama went in front of the United Nations “with a vast majority full of goons and thugs and mobsters and genocidal maniacs, and he trashes our own country,” said Levin.

“What do you think the nutjobs all over the world think when they hear an American president speak like this?” asked a fuming Levin. “Are you serious?”

The Egyptian President says “we need a revolution,” and “what he really means, in my view, is a reformation, which I’ve been talking about for years,” remarked Levin.

Islam is the only religion that hasn’t gone through a reformation. “It’s the only one,” said Levin, “and it’s true. And President Sisi is right.”

  1. Well we now know that Mark Levin’s ideal leader is a brutal dictator who came to power through a military coup and imprisons or kills his political opponents. Levin should be glad he lives in a country led by Obama and not Sisi.

  2. Islam’s founder murdered a tribe of Jews who refused to follow him. The Moslems now want to follow in his footsteps.
