hondaHonda is recalling 820,789 additional models for faulty headlamp wiring that could cause the low-beam lights to fail, the second time this week the automaker had to expand a previous recall.

In March, Honda recalled 554,428 SUVs — model-year 2002 to 2004 CR-Vs and 2003 Pilots — because parts of the electrical terminal near the light switch could wear and melt. Late last month, Honda told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it was adding more models, the 2002-2003 Civic and 2004-2005 Pilot, to the same recall.

Dealers will replace the light switch or fix the low-beam headlamp wiring harness, whichever may be needed. Owners have already been notified, but if you’re an owner in doubt, contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009. In total, 1.37 million Honda models are included in the recall.

On Monday, Honda recalled an additional 573,147 Honda Accords, on top of more than 52,000 Acura TL sedans recalled in May, for leaking power-steering fluid.
