The wife and father of Orlando gunman Omar Mateen reportedly have been placed on the federal government’s “no-fly” list.
The news comes amid reports that Mateen’s wife, Noor, accompanied her husband when he bought ammunition, and that she knew of his plot to attack the Pulse nightclub in advance, and tried to discourage him from carrying it out. A grand jury has been tasked with probing her exact role.
Mateen’s father, Seddique, is also under scrutiny for allegedly espousing the views that his son embraced. Read more at ABC News.

Charlie, what’s to worry? The family is Muslim so they are inherently peaceful. By insinuating that this Muslim family to own guns, would present a danger, IS RACIST! Why are they any more dangerous than if an Orthodox Jew were to own a gun. Charlie, my friend, YOU are the racist!
Huh? if a disturbed person decided they want a weapon – and I am not even thinking of someone that attacks a mosque or a nightclub or whatnot, rather someone that considers hurting themselves – I sure, sure and very strongly hope that no one will sell it and in addition I hope they will contact authorities and make sure no one else will sell. If such a person were a Yid, I hope so even more strongly, because I care even more. Perhaps we should use our common sense before we state our political affiliation. This person was obviously a danger (the psychiatrists should determine how much he was sick, but fact is he was an obvious danger, even to the gun store salespeople) and yet he got a plural number of semiautomated guns and lots of ammunition.
