mattis glickIt is with great sadness that we report the passing of habochur Mattisyahu Glick z”l. Mattis was a driver for the Monsey/Monroe Bus Company.

He was a son of the famed chazzan, R’ Nussen Glick.

Mattis, who lived in Brooklyn, was in Monsey last night and was waiting to drive a family back to Brooklyn after a wedding. When the bus didn’t arrive at the wedding hall, the family contacted the company, which tracked the bus to Kennedy Drive. It was about 4 a.m. when responders found Mattis on the bus, unresponsive. He apparently passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning, as the engine of the bus was running.

He was 33 years old.
