Matzav: Lipa and Avraham Fried to Team Up this Sukkos

3 has learned that for the very first time, this coming Chol Hamoed Sukkos, the renowned baalei menagnin, Avraham Fried and Lipa Schmelczer, will be teaming up for a special Chol Hamoed Sukkos 5770 Simchas Bais Hashoeivah musical event. The event is scheduled take place at Brooklyn College and will mark the first time that these two talented singers will perform together, singing lively and heartfelt niggunim in honor of the Yom Tov.

We pray, of course, that the event will take place in Eretz Yisroel, with the coming of Moshiach.

The organizers of the event relate that the event will be a unique one, with original presentations never seen before between Lipa and Avraham Fried.

    What a lie! Why must you say that? If Mashiach comes before the concert – there will be NO concert! I’m sick and tired of all you phonies who keep ending your statements saying “of course we hope Mashiach comes first”. There is nothing more disingenuous when you make that statement! People try to take away any guilt regarding Gashmiyusdicka plans by ending with “of course we hope Mashiach comes first”.

  2. Wow! frum really has got a good point. In my opinion there is nothing morally or hashkafadig positive in the performance of these two music superstars/icons. they do not necessarily follow our Hashkafe. Way to go frum!

  3. Dont be ridiculous! any reference to moshiach is appropriate and will strengthen emuna. Regardless of the writers exact intentions. as far as their hashkafas being slightly different – why spread enmity and discord for no reason, they are two of the biggest providers of kosher entertainment and we love em for that…
