May Was Hottest on Record

heat-hotAccording to NASA, the average global temperature for May was 1.38 degrees Fahrenheit above average, making it the hottest on record. And, these record highs come before El Niño, which is expected to hit this summer.

The global average does not mean it was scorching everywhere – for instance, Texas had a colder-than-average May – but it is significant in terms of long-term temperatures.

In addition to NASA, the Japan Meteorological Agency said that March, April, and May of 2014 were the warmest on record, dating back to 1891. Read more at Discover Magazine.

  1. In 200 years scientists are going to laugh at us for not realizing that the weather goes in long-term cycles and getting all scared of “climate change” and “global warming”.

  2. Rav Avigdor Miller said that global warming is invented by liberals, so all these scientists must be wrong. The fact that 8 of the hottest years on record have occured in the last 10 years is nothing but a plot by Democrats to further corrupt our Jewish Republican values.
