Bill Thompson, Democratic candidate for mayor of New York City, will be appearing at Brooklyn shuls to address neighborhood residents. At an event this Sunday, hosted by the Nvision Society of the Avenue N Jewish Center, Mr. Thompson will present his vision for New York City. After his opening remarks, the floor will be opened for questions from the community.
“It’s important that voters have the opportunity to have their local issues addressed. We are happy to provide that forum for the community,” said Eli Rosenberg, President of the Nvision Society.
The Avenue N Jewish Center has served the Brooklyn community for over 8 decades. Rabbi Dr. Max Schreier is currently in his 47th year as of the center.
The event is open to the public and will begin at 7:00 p.m. this Sunday tonight.
The Avenue N Jewish Center is located at 321 Avenue N in Brooklyn.
