MBTA Approves Pro-Palestinian Ads In Boston Subway

anti-israel-adBoston’s transportation authority (MBTA) last week approved a subway ads campaign by the NGO Ads Against Apartheid that challenges Israel’s commitment to peace.

“Does Israel want peace… or land?” the ads ask, calling on the US to end its support of “Israeli apartheid.”

One of the ads claims Israel has demolished over 25,000 Palestinian homes since 1967, while another features the 150 Jewish settlements built in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

A third ad displays statistics about the level of violence it says the IDF perpetrates: “Israel has killed 1 Palestinian child every 4 days since 2000.”

“The ads simply state the facts and are backed up with citations from credible human rights and international organizations, including the United Nations,” said Chadi Salamoun, the president of Ads Against Apartheid, who added that “if the ads are shocking, that’s because the reality on the ground is shocking.”

Richard Colbath-Hess, a Jewish-American faculty member at the University of Massachusetts, and the co-founder of Ads Against Apartheid, noted that “American tax dollars help the Israeli government maintain an incredibly brutal military occupation, which has denied the Palestinian people their basic rights for decades. These ads show what Israel’s occupation and apartheid really look like, and it is important for Americans to see that.”

The NGO plans to expand its campaign both in Boston and in other cities across the US, and promised to introduce more ads.

  1. Give your toes a calling and leave the palestinian cause by refreshing your hope. America and Israel are friends. If the palestinians want to remove honor by disciplining hate in the forum of a subway wall, remember that Torah is always dear to those who keep voices of liberty in maximum potential. We will likely be able to have the signs taken down, but until then, just smile- Hashem will continue to reward Israel for putting up with the sleaze of the pagans when honor continues to be restored to the Jews.

    Never Again.

  2. The truth is that these ads are Anti-Israel, not Pro-Palestinian… Although there is no reason to believe that the Palestinians will recognize the following anytime soon – a still deeper truth is that if they were honestly Pro-Palestinian they would encourage them to become law-abiding citizens of the existing state.

  3. There is no such thing as Palestinian people: there are only Arabs that reside in a geographical region of Palestine. The entire idea of existence of Palestinian people is nothing but a conspiracy by the world Jew-haters to strip us of Eretz Yisroel. In fact, before nineteen fifties, the term Palestinian would apply to Jews who resided in the British Palestine. We have no chance of bringing our point across as long as we accept our enemies’ premise by using their terminology.
