McCain Calls Anti-War Protesters ‘Low-Life Scum’

John McCain slammed anti-war protesters who interrupted the Senate Armed Services Committee during testimony from Henry Kissinger, Madeline Albright, and George Shultz.

“Get out of here you low-life scum,” the Vietnam War veteran told the demonstrators from Codepink, a self-described “women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement.”

Prior to the interruption, Codepink tweeted: “We are at the Senate Armed Services committee meeting to arrest Henry Kissinger on his countless war crimes!” Read more at C-SPAN.
