McCain: CIA Misled Congress

Today, Sen. John McCain blamed the CIA for holding details about Robert Levinson, the American who has been missing Iran since 2007.

Last week, an investigation showed he was on an unauthorized contract assignment for the agency when he disappeared.

McCain told State of the Union that “the CIA did not tell the truth to the Congress,” during the years he was described by the CIA as a former contractor who was in Iran as a citizen on a business trip. The last proof of life from Levinson surfaced in 2011. Read more at USA Today.
