mccainIf Hillary Clinton decides to run for president in 2016, she’ll undoubtedly be a “formidable” candidate, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) told reporters Monday at a Chicago event.

“I don’t think there’s any doubt that Secretary Clinton would be a very strong candidate,” McCain said, according to Bloomberg. “I don’t think there’s any doubt she has widespread support. Her work as secretary of state, with the exception of this issue of Benghazi — which isn’t going away — I think has been outstanding. I think she would be viewed by anyone, Republican or Democrat, as a very formidable candidate for 2016.”

McCain, who himself ran for president in 2000 and 2008, added that Vice President Joe Biden could also have a shot at the presidency. Calling Biden a “wonderful guy,” McCain said that it’d be a mistake to rule him “out of this mix.”

  1. It looks to me like John McCain is currently in the wrong political party.

McCain walks (acts) like a Democrat (he is the classic RINO) and he certainly talks like a Democrat.

Maybe McCain is angling to be Hillary’s running mate?

  2. Like Michael Savage says – no more a two-party system – it’s two-card monty. Both are playing the game and it’s just ‘one’ party. The world is unraveling.

  3. Clinton will be a strong candidate and would win over any of the TeaParty Republican possibilities in a landslide. And that will be good for both the US and Israel.

  4. Hey, #6, Hillary Clinton is just another Barack Obama: Both are Chicagoans, both are Sol Alinsky disciples, both are for socialized medicine (remember the Health Security Act of 1993?), both are in favor of a “Nanny State” and, last but not least, both are VERY LIBERAL.
