Yeshivas must exclude all unvaccinated students in Williamsburg, the New York City Health Department ordered on Monday, WPIX11 reports.
There’s been a school exclusion order in place since December 2018; unvaccinated students who attend yeshivas in the affected neighborhoods have not been allowed to attend school during this outbreak. But now schools face immediate violations or closures if they don’t comply.
Health officials say 465 measles cases have been reported nationally this year, as of last week. New York accounts for a large portion of the outbreak.
The measles outbreak in the Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn is now at 285 cases since it began last October, according to Health Department data. Nearly all of those cases are children 18 and under.
Measles symptoms include rash, high fever, cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes. It can cause serious complications such as pneumonia and encephalitis (swelling of the brain). Measles infection in a pregnant woman can lead to miscarriage, premature birth or a low-birth-weight baby. Measles is easily spread through the air when someone coughs or sneezes. People can also get sick when they come in contact with mucus or saliva from an infected person.

Fake headline. It’s only Williamsburg where this edict has been enacted. Flatbush & Boro Park have no such ban. I wonder how many of the unvaccinated attended the mandatory livayah last week where thousands were jammed together in tight quarters. Good luck.

If vaccines works so well, why ban unvaccinated students? More proof that only fools continue with dangerous fatal injections whose immunity does not protect you for more than 2-3 years.
Because there are people who cannot receive vaccinations due to terminal illness or allergies. And because vaccines are not effective on 100% of the population. Good to see that you’ve done your research. But keep fighting that good fight. And remember, if somebody you know CV falls I’ll – do not take them to the doctor, because you know better.
#1 Sadly, there are many more children who became autistic, brain damaged or other neurological injuries than those who cannot receive vaccinations.
#2 The CDC admitted that vaccines cause allergies.
#3 Had they contracted the measles as kids many years before they were terminal ill, they would have been immune for life and not worry when being exposed to measles. Because of their foolishness, we don’t have to suffer and inject our children with dangerous and fatal substances.
#4 Since vaccines are NOT LIFETIME immunity, it’s not very effective on anybody for more than a number of years!
The connection to autism is baloney. No healthy kid ever became autistic strictly by taking a flu shot. That is so ridiculous it’s absurd.
