Men Charged in Paintball Shooting of Frum Men Released On Bail

paintball-suspects1Updated: Two people facing felony assault as a hate crime charges in the paintball shooting of a frum man were released this morning, while the accused shooter remained behind bars on $50,000 bail.

All three suspects – accused in an incident in which Yosef Margareten was shot twice with paintball pellets on Wednesday in the Village of Kaser – appeared for a felony hearing at Ramapo Town Court. During the hearing, Assistant District Attorney Jason Rosenwasser told Justice Alan Simon that his office was seeking more time to investigate the incident. Read more here.
