malaysiaPilot Zaharie Shah has been identified as the “chief suspect” in the official investigation of the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. The Sunday Times revealed that Zaharie is under scrutiny after everyone else on board checked out. The criminal inquiry has not ruled out terrorism or mechanical failure. However, the police view is that if the crash resulted from human initiatives, then Zaharie was most likely responsible.

Investigators found evidence of routes that went far out into the Indian Ocean programmed into the flight simulator. The data from these simulated flights had been deleted, but computer programmers were able to retrieve them. Zaharie was also the only person on the flight without any work or social commitments planned for after the infamous flight.

Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 has been missing since March 8. No evidence has been found of the 239 people on board. Read more at The Independent.
