Microsoft is planning to begin warning its Outlook email users of suspected government hacking, the company told Reuters in a statement on Wednesday.
Users will be warned when Microsoft suspects that a government is trying to hack into their accounts.
The new policy comes after a Reuters report found that the company declined to tell users about a hacking campaign by Chinese authorities discovered in 2011.
