The group that equated Muslim radicals with savages in advertisements last year has put up another set of provocative ads in dozens of New York City subway stations, reports the AP.
The American Freedom Defense Initiative purchased space next to 228 clocks in 39 stations for ads with an image of the burning World Trade Center and a quote attributed to the Koran saying: “Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.”
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said the ads went up Monday and will run for a month. The same group paid for ads to be displayed in 10 stations in September. Those ads implied enemies of Israel are “savages.”
The MTA also sold space last year to competing advertisements that urged tolerance, according to the AP.

I don’t understand this. Aren’t there many pesukim that if translated literally would make it seem like we are warlike and violent? I don’t believe that we need to worry about them hating us. They hate us or not irrespective of some ads. But it just doesn’t make sense.

Keep the ads coming, these are true advertising
I do not have the power of shipping Arabs back to Arabia. If I had, I would do. But given that I don’t, that it does not even happen in Israel, let alone in USA, given that we are a small minority and they are a large minority in USA, UK, Europe and many other countries, it serves no useful purpose to insult and anger them, and to alienate many non-muslims as well, with actions that will be identified with “the Jews”. Our enemies bundle us all together, they don’t nitpick who says what.
Moreover, the message that terrorism is the unavoidable consequence of them subscribing to some primitive Abramitic religion (instead of realizing they are evil people and that without monotheism would be much worse) is unacceptable. Incidentally, many US citizens are convinced, we know what, about 9-11. Others may start to quote (out of context), too. We are merely tolerated and surely not warmly accepted – especially those of us who insist upon living as Jews. But, I suspect the people behind the ads despise haredim no less than they despise muslims. Do my fellow readers believe that I am wrong?
