  1. The most frequent accidents and fatalities occur between 2am -5am, WHY? ’cause the body thinks it is sleeping even though the person is behind the wheel driving a car. Beware during those hours and stay home in bed.

  2. He was a friend of mine. I too am baffled as to why he was driving in the wrong direction. Another article stated if he was wearing his seatbelt, he would have survived. Let that be a lesson, always buckle up!

  3. He was a real good kid…if he was drunk and driving it was totally out of character…the whole things heartbreaking. Pray for both families, thank God the 47 year old survived.

  4. I recently was in an acciddent when I accidently got on the wrong side of the fdr on east 63 rd street I almost died and could have killed others I am starting a petion to put more signs or even change the entrances and exits so they are safer for people. If you or anyone you know might have done this or came close to doing it please email me at [email protected] with your name and telephone number and even a brief description of the incident . Thank you
