Ah gut yohr to all Matzav readers across the globe on this Motzoei Yom Hakippurim. We hope that you all have a meaningful fast. May all your tefillos be accepted On High l’tovah and may this be a year of yeshuos, refuos, hatzlacha and bracha for all of Klal Yisroel. Of course, we are praying that this will be the year of the ultimate yeshuah, with the coming the geulah.
Tonight is considered a quasi-Yom Tov. There is a minhag to begin building the sukkah tonight.
Shlomo Hamelech dedicated the Beis Hamikdash between Yom Kippur and Sukkos. These are days of rejoicing; we don’t fast, even on a yahrtzeit, or say Tachanun.
With everyone a joyous Zeman Simchaoseinu.
