It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Marianne (Mirla) Meyer a”h, beloved matriarch of a respected family, today at the age of 86.

Mrs. Meyer and her husband, R’ Yisroel z”l, raised an exemplary family, leaving behind generations of bnei and bnos Torah following in their ways.

This afternoon, the levayah began at Bais Yaakov High School at 15th Avenue and 45th Street in Boro Park. The levayah then continued at her home on 52nd Street. Kevurah followed at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.

The family is sitting shivah until Monday morning at 2216 80th Street, between Bay Parkway and 23rd Avenue, in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Shacharis is at 8 a.m., Mincha is at 6 p.m., and Maariv is at 9 p.m.
