It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Michal Leshinsky a”h, a beloved member of the Flatbush community, following a battle with illness. She was just 38.

Mrs. Leshinsky was the wife of R’ Yitzchok Leshinsky, a communal activist and dear friend to so many people. The Leshinskys established a beautiful home saturated with Torah and yiras Shomayim, making themselves available to one and all, and serving as sterling examples of simchas hachaim and selfless chesed.

Mrs. Leshinsky was a daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Mordechai Leiser of Flatbush.

She was a daughter-in-law of Rabbi and Mrs. Yeruchem and Libby Leshinsky of Flatbush. Rav Yeruchem is a longtime maggid shiur at the Mirrer Yeshiva in Brooklyn and son-in-law of the famed Rav Avigdor Miller zt”l, rov of the Bais Yisroel Torah Center and renowned mashpiah, mashgiach and rov.

Mrs. Leshinsky’s passing has plunged her family and many friends and acquaintances into mourning, leaving a gaping hole in the hearts of so many.

The levayah will take place at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue in Boro Park, Brooklyn, at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Leshinsky is survived by her devoted husband, their five children, her parents and in-laws, her siblings, and a wider community grieving over her untimely passing.

She was a wonderful woman; who also went thru a lot of physical challenges the last few years… It is important to mention that her parents are unbelievably special pple . her father in his own right an accomplished askan too, who have been busy caring and helping and not sleeping for the past few years.. hoping Michal would recover from this nightmare… May hashem comfort them and all of klal yisroel; a real loss….
